Stephen Antley is a Captain with the League City Police Department where he has served since 2005. He holds a Master Peace Officer’s license and has served on the department’s SWAT team since 2008. Captain Antley is currently the team’s Tactical Commander where, as a forward-deployed Commander, his duties include coordinating assets during high-risk events and ensuring the effectiveness of the team. Currently assigned as the Bureau Commander for night shift patrol, his previous assignments have included patrol officer, field training officer, detective, patrol Sergeant, special crimes Sergeant, and patrol Watch Commander.
In 2019, Captain Antley earned his master’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Oklahoma. In addition to the duties performed at the League City Police Department, Captain Antley is an adjunct instructor with ALERRT. Through ALERRT, he instructs officers across the country in active shooter response, in both interior and exterior environments.
