[ARCHIVED] June 8 Community Meeting for Meadows Drainage Project

Citizens are invited to a community meeting on Monday, June 8 at 6:30 pm at the Civic Center to learn more about the status of the Meadows Drainage Projects approved in the 2019 Bond Program. The City is in the midst of developing an engineering contract for these projects and is seeking input from residents who live in the area regarding their experiences during heavy rain events as well as their ideas for things that can be addressed from a maintenance perspective.

At the meeting, City Manager John Baumgartner, staff from the Engineering and Project Management Departments, and a consultant hired by the City will talk about the scope of the projects and a general timeline for construction and completion. While the meeting will focus on drainage, staff from Public Works will also be on hand to address maintenance issues and short term projects.

To accommodate social distancing, the meeting will be limited to 78 attendees inside the Civic Center Ballroom. The meeting will be video recorded so those who cannot attend can watch at a later date.
