[ARCHIVED] Hometown Pool Opening June 1 For Lap Swimming and Water Aerobics

The municipal pool located at the Hometown Heroes Recreation Center will open on Monday, June 1 for lap swimming and for water aerobics. Individuals wanting to lap swim can stop by Monday through Thursday between the hours of 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Those wanting to participate in water aerobics need to preregister online or by calling 281-554-1180. 

Open swim will begin at  Hometown Heroes Pool and the municipal pool on Walker Street beginning June 15, but with limitations. Open swim will be limited to 30 swimmers and swimmers will be limited to 1 – 1.5 hours of swim time.

Registration for swim lessons begins June 3 online and in person at Hometown Heroes Park. Lessons are available for ages 6 months to adults. All lessons will be held in the evening.

POOL HOURS FOR OPEN SWIM STARTING JUNE 15

Hometown Heroes Park (closed on Fridays)

Mon-Thu 1 – 5 p.m.

Sat and Sun 1 – 6 p.m.

Walker Pool (closed on Mondays)

Tue – Fri 1– 7 p.m.

Sat and Sun 1– 6 p.m.

SEASON PASSES AND DROP IN COSTS 

Season pass for both pools: $25/resident, $45 non-resident

Season Pass for Walker Pool: $10 resident, $25 non-resident

Hometown Heroes Daily Drop-in Fees:

Ages 2 and under - FREE

Ages 3-9: $3 resident, $5 non-resident

Ages 10 and up: $5 resident, $8 non-resident

Walker Pool Daily Drop-in Fees:

Ages 2 and under - FREE

Ages 3-9: $2 resident, $3 non-resident

Ages 10 and up: $3 resident, $5 non-resident
