I.                   Call to Order and Roll Call of Members

 

II.                Approval of Minutes

A.      June 17, 2019

 

III.             Citizen Communication

The privilege of speaking at this time is limited to the following persons: residents, persons having an ownership interest in property or a business within the City, or their attorneys. A statement of no more than 3 minutes may be made. There will be no yielding of time to another person. State law prohibits members of the Planning and Zoning Commission from commenting on any statement or engaging in dialogue without an appropriate agenda item being posted in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act. Comments should be directed to the entire Planning and Zoning Commission, not individual members of the Planning and Zoning Commission or staff. If addressing a specific agenda item, speakers must keep their remarks specific to the item being considered by the Planning and Zoning Commission. Any speaker making personal attacks or using vulgar or profane language shall forfeit his/her remaining time and shall be seated.

 

IV.              New Business

A.     Consider and take action on a Preliminary/Final Plat – Highbridge at Egret Bay (Plat-19-0129), generally located along the east side of Egret Bay Boulevard (FM 270), north of Austin Street, with the address of 1445 S. Egret Bay Boulevard.

B.      Consider and take action on a Preliminary/Final Plat – JMK5 Addition (PLAT-19-0144), generally located on the southeast corner at the intersection of West Main Street (FM 518) and Wesley Drive, with the address of 1411 W. Main Street.

 

V.                 Public Hearing and Action Items

A.     Hold a public hearing and take action on a Replat – Lakeside Addition, Lot 38R, Block 7 (PLAT-19-0135), to replat approximately 0.230 acres, generally located along the west side of Valmar Street, south of Bluebonnet Street with addresses of 22 and 218 Valmar Street, League City, Texas.

B.      Hold a public hearing and make a recommendation to City Council on amendments to Chapter 125 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of League City, entitled “Zoning” to include the following changes:

1.       Revise lighting standards to require full cutoff lights and not allow any light trespass on to adjacent properties.

2.       Create regulations to allow dogs in outdoor dining areas.

3.       Consolidate landscaping requirements into one section.

4.       Revise parking regulations related to compact spaces, wheel stops, and commercial vehicles in residential areas

5.       Create regulations for electric vehicle charging stations.

6.       Revise the use table to allow restaurants in the “CM” zoning district to have live entertainment

7.       Revise fence regulations to allow decorative metal/ wrought iron fences in front and side yards.

8.       Revise side setback regulations on corner lots in “RSF” zoning districts to provide continuity of setbacks along street frontages.
