1. What parks are operated and maintained by the City of League City, and what are the locations of each park?

You can find a complete list of the City of League City’s parks and locations on our website. Choose City Departments, then select Parks & Cultural Services, finally click on the League City Parks Map & Amenities Chart. There you will find a detailed list of all of our parks and locations.

2. What are the fees associated with renting a park in the City of League City, and where can I obtain a park contract?

You can find the park fee schedule on our website under City Departments and selecting Parks & Cultural Services. There you will find the park contract, and if you notice on page 2 you will see all of the fees associated with renting a City park.

3. Is Walter Hall Park operated and maintained by the City of League City?

No, this is a Galveston County Park and all questions and concerns should be addressed to the Galveston County Department of Parks & Senior Services.

4. Where is the League City Parks Recreation Department located?

The Parks Recreation Office is located in League Park. You can visit the office at 512 2nd Street during regular business hours.

5. What are the office hours for the Parks Recreation Department?

The Parks Recreation Office is open Monday - Thursday from 7:00 am - 6:00 pm, and on Fridays from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm. The office is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

6. How do I find information regarding upcoming programs and registration dates?

You can see a detailed list of programs on the City of League City website by choosing City Departments and selecting Parks & Cultural Services. There you will select Recreation Programs for a brief description of all upcoming programs being offered, as well as a listing of the registration dates.

7. Does the Parks Recreation Department offer online registration?

No, at this time we do not offer online registration. Most programs are walk-in registration during regular business hours.

1. Why did my water bill go up?

Questions to ask yourself for the consumption period that you are being billed:

Did I or do I have any toilets that run or “hang up”; TO CHECK TOILETS: add food coloring to the tank and wait about 30 minutes and then check the bowl. If the bowl has the coloring, that would indicate a toilet leak.

Did I have any dripping faucets inside or out; or did I have any plumbing problems?

Did I have company that stayed a few days?

Did I water the yard, flowers, landscaping?

Am I showering more due to the summer heat?

Am I having to add water to the pool to keep it at a certain level?

Does the triangle, (which is the leak detector), on the face of my water meter, move when I don’t have water running in the house? If yes, that would indicate a leak.

2. Why doesn’t the “Save to Billfold” option work when I pay online thru Click2Gov?

User puts a checkmark when paying a bill; thereafter; payments need to be made using the button on the left “Make Payment”

Click the “On Demand” button

User can now click on “Pay Now” button in the On Demand window

It prompts only for the amount to be paid and the CW2 number
