Ask the Arborist: To "Bee" Green or not to "Bee" Green?

Photo of a cartoon bee and waste basketThat was the question for Bee Green. Bee Green was born Bee in League City, TX. The exact date of his birth was not recorded, but it is presumed to be April 23, 2009. His father was of a local bee colony and an important bee in town.

The details of Bee's activities, between his birth and the present, are uncertain. What is known is that he was of a rebellious nature. There are stories that he inhibited the production of honey, thwarted crop pollination, and joined a killer bee colony. Bee flew in and out of surrounding communities and cities searching for his purpose in life. One day, while hanging out in a live oak in League Park, Bee had an epiphany. In his travels, he had observed eco-friendly practices that he could bring to his hometown. He wanted to do his part to educate the community and promote going green in League City. Bee changed his name to Bee Green and teamed up with the City Arborist to share his ideas through this website.
