Starting on Tuesday, June 4, Helen Hall Library will pilot a free summer tutoring program called Scholastic Summer Tutoring.  Students in grades 1st through 12th are welcome to attend.  Study help will be provided in the subject areas of Math, Reading, Language Arts, Science and History.  The tutors will be adult and teen volunteers who have strengths in the different subject areas.  This is a great opportunity both to improve academic performance and to give your time as a volunteer.  Give your child the advantage and help them achieve academic excellence!

The tutoring help will be offered on a walk-in basis. No appointment is necessary.  For any questions or to get more information, please contact the Volunteer Coordinator, London Lawrence at 281-554-1116 or via e-mail at
