Over 100 people braved the rain on Wednesday, June 20 to attend a League City Town Hall meeting to hear more about the City’s proposed Strategic Action Plan developed over the past few months by Council, the Mayor, and City Administrators.
Assistant City Manager Bo Bass and City Directors presented an overview of the plan’s proposed initiatives which would guide the work of City staff over the next three to five years. The initiatives are based on eight success factors which were developed by the Council, City Administrators, and the Mayor. The success factors, in no particular order, include:
- Develop and maintain the City’s infrastructure
- Financial stability
- Safe and desirable community
- Quality community amenities
- Trained, committed, and valued workforce
- Engaged residents
- Economic development and tourism
- Quality built environment

Council is expected to formally adopt the plan in July.
