2016 P&Z Commission Case Notifications Log

Below are a list of cases that have already been or will be heard by the Planning and Zoning (P&Z) Commission which were submitted during 2016 that require notification to surrounding property owners, or apply to the entire City of League City. 

Zoning Petition

If surrounding property owners want to oppose a zoning change request that has not been acted upon by City Council, complete the Zoning Petition Form (PDF) and submit it to the Planning Department prior to the City Council meeting. Staff recommends that you submit this form as early as possible and before the Planning and Zoning Commission's recommendation to City Council.

Reports will not be provided until the Friday prior to the P&Z Commission Meeting.

SUP16-05 (Metropawlitan)

A Special Use Permit request t o allow an Animal Sales and Services use to be operated on a property zoned "CN" (Neighborhood Commercial), legally described as J Dickinson Survey, Tract 19, generally located along the north side of West Main Street (FM 518), approximately 130 feet east of Magnolia Estates Drive, with the address of 3512 West Main Street (FM 518) in League City, Texas. SUP16-04 (Lowguard Automotive Collision Repair)

Retail Sales & Exterior Masonry Requirements  

An amendment to Chapter 125 of the Code of Ordinances, specifically Sections 125-72.B., 125-140.Q. and 125-280.B. to add new regulations along major commercial corridors and provides for an exterior masonry standard for new construction in League City. View relevant project information:

SUP16-02 (Duncan Sand Pit)

A Special Use Permit request to permit a 33.5-acre sand pit (excavation and mining use) on a 418.8 acre tract 418.8 acres zoned "RSF-7-PUD" (Single-family residential with a minimum lot size of 7,000 square feet with a Planned Unit Development Overlay), generally located north of FM 517, south of Ervin Street, and west of Calder Road with the approximate address being in the 7000 block of West FM 517.
